Apartments

Waterford at Fairway Village has 75 Assisted Living apartments (45 in the Commons building and 30 in the Claremont building, connected by a spacious atrium walkway).

Apartment choices include:

• Studios, deluxe studios, one bedroom, one-bedroom suites, and two bedrooms with a wide choice of floor plans
• Apartments range from 350 sq. ft. studios to 1,125 sq. ft. two-bedroom floor plans

Rates are determined by apartment size, location, and the level of requested services and amenities.

Features include:

• All apartments include a refrigerator, microwave, and sink. A limited number of apartments have full kitchens and/or washer/dryer hookups
• Free laundry facilities are located on each floor
• Underground and surface parking
• Storage units
• Patios and balconies available in some apartments
• 24-hour emergency call response monitoring devices

Basic services include:

• 24-hour caregiver staffing
• Three nutritional meals served daily with menu choices
• Weekly housekeeping
• All utilities except telephone
• Basic cable TV service
• Weekly linen and towel service
• Vital signs/weight monitoring monthly
• Daily interaction with staff
• Daily activities/social events
• Exercise and wellness programs
• Access to all Waterford services and amenities
• Scheduled transportation for shopping and local outings
• Coordination of appointments, as needed
• Scheduled transportation for medical appointments
• Periodic pharmacist review of medications
• Health status assessments every 90 days or as needed
• Family care conferences every 90 days or as needed
• Routine communication with the resident, family, and/or physician

• Note: Cost of medicines, supplies, physicians, therapists, and other health care services or supplies are not included in the monthly fees for personal care.

Personal care and health services

Health professionals provide in-depth initial assessments to determine residents’ individualized service plans. Recurring assessments and scheduled care conferences keep the service plan current and specific to the changing needs of each resident. This thorough assessment and review process is included in the basic rate for every Assisted Living resident and ensures a resident is charged only for the services provided.

Other services are available at an additional cost, depending upon a person’s specific needs.
